Did I find my purpose or did my purpose find me?
Youstrology wasn’t created from a perfect business plan or one dramatic “I quit my job and changed my life” moment.
The actual recipe was messier: one zig-zag career, a generous helping of astrology, a few side hustles, several professional identity wobbles and one 20-year-old business idea.
Left to simmer for two decades. Served in 2026 as Youstrology.
WHAT THE HELL DOES AN ASTROLOGER KNOW ABOUT BUSINESS?
I’ve spent my 20-year career in marketing, internal communications and people experience - persuading, positioning, writing, influencing behaviour and helping leaders work out what to say and how to show up.
Along the way I’ve also built my own small businesses, made websites, marketed myself, taken bookings, dealt with customers, kept records, filed tax returns, made mistakes and occasionally questioned my life choices.
You won’t find me on the Forbes list of successful entrepreneurs next to a Lamborghini (I drive a Volkswagen actually).
But I do understand what it’s like to build something while you’re still figuring it out. And I know how to turn messy ideas into something other people can understand and buy.
I too have wondered whether there was something else I was meant to be doing And my own personal journey has led me to help you answer the very question I often asked myself.

How the pieces (finally) came together
Professional identity crisis?
I spent years trying to work out who I was supposed to be in the corporate world.
More polished? More corporate? More serious? Less me?
Turns out trying to be someone else is exhausting.
Astrology enters the chat
Being furloughed in 2020 allowed me to discover my birth chart, unlocking a whole new level of self-understanding.
It also planted the seed that perhaps a traditional corporate 9-5 life wasn’t for me.
I had absolutely no idea that the problem and the solution had shown up in my life at exactly the same time.
My hostage-video era
By 2023, I knew enough astrology that people kept telling me I should do readings professionally. So Born on the Cusp was… born!
Then came the horrifying realisation that your own business = telling strangers on the internet that you exist!
My early videos were cringe, stiff, scripted and like I was explaining where to leave the ransom money.
The £1,000 birth chart problem
I love Born on the Cusp, but I used to joke that if I ever wanted to leave my full-time job, I’d need to charge £1,000 for a birth chart reading.
I knew astrology belonged in whatever I was meant to do next.
I just hadn’t worked out how it connected to everything else yet.
Then, in early 2026, an old idea resurfaced.
At university, I’d dreamed of a business helping small companies market themselves. More than 20 years later, I found myself telling a friend about it.
Turns out the universe had decided there was still some unfinished business to attend to.
Full circle back to where it all began
All the dots connected
Finally, the penny dropped. I knew how difficult it was for small business owners to sell themselves and stand out from everyone else.
Astrology could help you understand who you are. Strategy could help you do something useful with it.
The final piece of the jigsaw clicked into place - and Youstrology was born.
